China Discovery Program (CDP) enables the participants to learn Chinese language and Chinese culture in short but intensive training courses through interactive and social activities.

【Duration】4 weeks immersive Mandarin learning (listening and speaking) + 1 week Chinese cultures discovery: China's ancient cities tour (optional, at participant’s own expenses)
【Target Audience】 International friends and young professionals who are interested in discovering China, its culture and values
【Housing】 International student's dormitories in Beijing’s universities or apartments
【Option:】 After completion of this program, participants may apply for PKU’s 1-Year China Facilitating Program (CFP)

4 weeks
Total Chinese Boot-Camp (TCB) at one of top Chinese universities, including Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Communication University of China or other PKU’s partners :
  • Immersive Mandarin Learning (listening and speaking)
  • Interactive Social Activities
In-depth Cultural Interactive Activities, including but not limited to:
  • Chinese History/Ethnic/Culture Studies
  • Chinese Calligraphy
  • Traditional Chinese Musical Instruments and Dance
  • Martial Arts: Taichi, Kung Fu
  • Beijing Opera
  • Acrobatic Performance
Field Trips & Excursions:
  • Great Wall & Ming Tombs
  • Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven
  • Beijing Hutongs
  • Beijing Museums, and Sports Stadiums (including Olympic Stadium)
